Better Call Saul takes place years before Breaking Bad, back when Saul Goodman was struggling to start his legal career. His car, bearing the ironic badge ‘Esteem’, has similar starting issues.

It's a school teacher's car, no mistake – and so it was the perfect cover for a narcotics kingpin. As cool and beautifully-made as Breaking Bad was, it only served to highlight the Aztek's ugliness.

The MK 2 looks nice, in an antiquated sort of way, but it could be outrun by a push-bike; this 2.4 straight-six petrol-guzzler couldn't even reach 100mph.

It's got three wheels – which is kind of cool – and it only requires motorbike road tax (if Delboy remembered to buy it) – but those are the only redeeming features of this silly little car.

Another cop with a rubbish car, Bergerac had to tootle around the island of Jersey in this 75mph heap of disappointment. In Midsommer Murders he upgraded to a Rover 75 – which actor John Nettles much preferred.
The producers of Batman and Robin arguably gave the designers of this car a little too much leeway. The over-the-top lines of this monstrosity look even worse when compared to our hero's ride in Batman Begins (2005), which is a lot cooler.
